We had an instructional lesson on the microwave and how if they ever used the microwave in a way other than what I was describing how their little lives would end.
So I taught them how to do things in 5 second increments and made them both demonstrate and practice to be passed off on the microwave.
So far it's been working. I don't have a James though, so it may not be transferable to other families.
