Daphne's Third

I am dictating this to my husband, (the amazing and marvelous) Doug. I've created a darling desk, but it is not very typing friendly. I have a case of carpal tunnel in both arms. Posts may be infrequent over the next few weeks until the swelling goes down. I can only post on Sundays when my husband takes pity on me and puts the kids down to type.

Daphne turned three this week. That was our big event. I'm just going to post some pictures full of three year old attitude.

This purple cake was easy to make, but the flowers were not. Don't try flattening AirHeads with a rolling pin, it's just not worth it.

Olivia: Daphne's third child.

She's a natural!

Cheeky Monkey.

This may be the cycling wonder who will stop Lance in his mighty comeback.

Darling pictures! It is amazing to me that Daphne is so big! Happy birthday to her! BTW, will you plant or plan or something my garden for me next year? Yours turned out so beautifully.

Hi Heather! This is Heather from 5th Ward, aka Holly's sister. :) I was pretty happy to hear you had a blog. Your garden is beautiful, as are your children. Love the "atttitude" pictures. We'll have a three year old in Feruary, and she's already working on the attitude part...

I hope your carpal tunnel subsides soon. I get tendinitis in my right wrist if I ask too much of it, and even those relatively minor flare-ups are no fun. :(

She's definitely a Tanner! I cannot believe how much her and James look alike! They are both so cute! We miss you guys, We can still remember when you brought "Dabby Cakes" home from the hospital. We love your wonderful family and hope live is treating you well.

what a happy little 3 year old! The more pictures of 3 and 4 year olds riding bikes that I see, the more I realize that my kids really have outgrown their trikes... sigh.

Hi Heather! I found your blog! it's about time too... sorry. hope th e carpal gets better soon.. you've had a rough year!

love your blog. so great to see pics of your kids... but where are the pics of you? that's great that Daphne is 3. loved your DI / Cop story... I don't know how you remained calm through that situation. I know how she can scream. Sarah also has tantrums or cries when she can't things that she wants in the stores sometimes... it can really grind down your calm...can't believe someone took your license plate down! your life is certainly full of adventure:-)
And your garden looks great!!! I can remember being there, and it makes me miss you more. I'll call you sometime so we can chat. it's been too long.
hey Doug! glad you're doing the blog when heather can't... its' great to see all of you. Now James looks like he's 6 or 7 with a missing tooth:-)
Miss you guys!!
